I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Dr. Blalock really knows her stuff—she’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about finding the right solution. The entire staff was friendly, thorough, and took the time to explain every step of the process. I never felt rushed or like just another appointment on the schedule.
I recently received my oral appliance and honestly didn’t expect it to work. After a terrible experience with CPAP, I was prepared to be disappointed. But this device is amazing. I’m sleeping better than I ever have. SnoreLab shows 0 snoring, and my WHOOP sleep monitor is showing huge improvements in both deep and REM sleep. I’m still shocked that after all these years, I’ve finally found something that actually works.
No more CPAP, no more mouth tape, and no more wasting money on cheap snoring gadgets from Amazon. This has completely changed my nights—and my days.

The only thing I can say is WOW. I have never had something so life changing happen so fast. I put my appliance in at bedtime and fell asleep. I mean I really fell asleep! I woke up a few times in the night but went right back to sleep. The appliance fit fine and I had no problem keeping it in all night. Upon getting up this morning I felt rested for the first time, (well I truly can’t remember the last time it was so long ago). My husband stays up later than me and he thought I was not in the bed when he came in the room. He said he kept touching me in the night to make sure I was alive! He said I did not toss and turn or move about the bed. No noise from snoring at all. He told me this morning that he did not know if I could tell a difference in my quality of sleep but he sure could. I have not been exhausted or nodded off once today at all. Sleep Better South Carolina certainly deserves 5 stars for helping me with my snoring/sleep apnea problem. The process included diagnosing my condition, identifying the options for remedying, determining the best option for me and finally explaining in great detail how to use and care for my device. All was done by highly trained professionals. Everyone I met was so courteous and I really liked the fact that all my concerns were addressed/solved. I’ve been snore free for over a month now! Kudos to everyone at Sleep Better SC! For the last 3 years I haven’t had an uninterrupted night of sleep due to my C-Pap machine! Either it practically strangled me, slipped off my nose sending a loud gush of air, or the elastic part of the head gear slipped.
Then, I saw an ad for Dr. Blalock and her sleep center. From the first phone call to the delivery of my sleep appliance, the skill of everyone in the office, the diagnostics used, and the follow up care, I could not have been more satisfied. The professionalism was way more than I could have imagined! I’ve only had my appliance for 2 days and I have had 2 glorious nights of sleep.

Most importantly though is their steadfast devotion to getting me fitted with the perfect appliance. You see, I have sensitivity issues and the first 2 appliances just didn’t work. I gave up ,thinking surely there were no more options.
Since I hadn’t checked in with the office in a few weeks, Kellie called me and said that they weren’t out of ideas and that they would try a different material. My mouth tolerated this one and I’ll be forever grateful for their perseverance.
