Dana Blalock, DDS
Meet Dr. Blalock
Dr. Blalock grew up in Independence, Missouri and graduated from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She went on to the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and fulfilled her childhood ambition of becoming a dentist. After passing her dental boards, she was sworn in as a dental officer in the United States Navy. After eight successful years, she resigned her Naval commission and began a private dental practice in Charleston. Since that time, she has furthered her dental education and is focusing her energy on patients with snoring, TMJ and facial pain, and sleep apnea. Dr. Blalock has completed countless hours of continuing education a year, in the field of sleep medicine. Dr. Blalock is a Diplomate to the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, a Diplomate to the Board of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy, and is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. She is looking forward to welcoming you to her office, Sleep Better South Carolina, in Charleston and Bluffton.
Dr. Blalock is married to a Charleston native and has a 27- year old son, and 3 Australian Labradoodles. You may even meet the youngest one in the office!
Meet Dr. Jordan Henke
Dr. Henke graduated from University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Upon completing his degree, Dr. Henke was commissioned as a dental officer in the United States Navy and volunteered to complete a twelve month Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Program. After five years, he resigned his active duty commission to pursue private dental practice and proudly continues to serve in the Naval Reserves. Throughout this time, Dr. Henke has become passionate in helping patients with snoring, TMJ and facial pain, and sleep apnea. Dr. Henke is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and is currently working toward his Diplomate status. He is excited to welcome you to the Bluffton location of Sleep Better South Carolina.
When Dr. Henke is not in the office, his time is spent with his wife Mia and their four young children as they continue to explore all that the Lowcountry has to offer.
